Mr. KEITH JONES
Svého prvního hladkého foxteriéra jsem dostal, když mi bylo 13 let. Byl od Davida Reese, vlastníka chovatelské stanice "Ebbw". U něj jsem ostatně získával také svoje první kynologické zkušenost, protože jsem v jeho "kennelu" pracoval během víkendů i prázdnin. Vlastní chovatelskou stanici "Darlaur" mám od roku 1983, kdy jsem si koupil od Henryho Hollinrakea, majitele CHS Karnilo, fenku Karnilo Candy Tuft. Z jejího prvního vrhu, což bylo spojení s CH Paulanna Pilgrimem, se narodil také můj první šampion CH Darlaur Director, který později byl BiS na klubové výstavě foxteriérů v roce 1987 a nejlepším hladkosrstým foxteriérem ve Velké Británii. Po něm přišel další úspěšný pes: CH Darlaur Duallist, který se stal rovněž nejlepším hladkosrstým foxteriérem v Británii a získat i B.O.B. na Crufftově výstavě v roce 1990.

Poprvé jsem posuzoval obě plemena foxteriérů v roce 1990 na "open show" Pontypridd and District. Od té doby posuzuji průběžně jak "open" výstavy tak výstavy šampionů. Mou první takovou přehlídkou byla klubová výstava pořádaná klubem The Fox Terrier Club of South Wales (nyní The Fox Terrier Club of Wales) v roce 2005. Následovaly pak klubové výstavy pořádané klubem The Fox Terrier Club of Scotland či asociací The Smooth Fox Terrier Association (v roce 2011 jsem byl prezidentem jejich klubové výstavy) a posuzoval jsem i drsné psy na výstavě pořádané v roce 2011 The Welsh Kennel klubem.

V současnosti působím jako prezident klubu The Fox Terrier Club of Wales a také jako zdravotní poradce pro hladkosrsté foxteriéry ve Velké Británii.

My first Smooth Fox Terrier was given to me when I was aged 13, he was given to me by Mr David Rees who owned the "Ebbw" kennels, a kennels I worked at in my school holidays and at weekends when time allowed.

I set up my own kennels in 1983 after purchasing a bitch puppy from Mr Henry Hollinrake (Karnilo) this bitch

(Karnilo Candy Tuft) when old enough was mated to Ch. Paulanna Pilgrim giving me my first champion in my first ever litter of Smooth Fox Terriers, Ch. Darlaur Director who later went on to win Best in Show at The Fox Terrier Club in 1987 and top Smooth Fox Terrier in the U.K. he was followed by Ch. Darlaur Duallist who also became top Smooth Fox Terrier in the U.K. and B.O B at Crufts in 1990, numerous other champions have followed my latest Ch. Darlaur Dyma Fi who is jointly owned by Mr James Smith (U.S.A.) was made up at Birmingham and District Fox Terrier Club in November 2012.

I first judged Fox Terriers (both coats) at Pontypridd and District open show 1990 and since then have continued to judge at both Open Show and Championship shows. The first championship show I judged was The Fox Terrier Club of South Wales (now renamed The Fox Terrier Cub of Wales) in 2005 and since then have judged The Fox Terrier Club of Scotland, The Smooth Fox Terrier Association show of which I was President in 2011 and Wire Fox Terriers at The Welsh Kennel Club in 2011.

I currently hold the office of Chairman of The Fox Terrier Club of Wales, I am also the Smooth Fox Terrier breed health coordinator in the U.K.
